Payment may be made through monthly payroll deduction for University of Cincinnati employees or by check annually. UC Departmental memberships may be paid by Form A-169 NIU, internal bill for services. All other members pay by check annually. Memberships can not be paid with credit cards.
Membership in the Cincinnati Faculty Club provides the opportunity to meet and mingle with colleagues while enjoying fine dining in the club's attractive dining room. Join old colleagues and meet new ones at the club's community table. Monthly Speaker Series luncheons cover challenging and thought-provoking subjects. Members have "first dibs" on reservations for pre-game football and basketball dinners. Special events such as monthly retired members luncheons, quarterly birthday luncheons and the annual Mother's Day brunch await you. Members may use the Faculty Club Board Room, which comfortably seats up to 25, for private meetings. Get away from the hustle and bustle of fast food and retreat to gracious dining at the club, where the staff will greet you by name and provide personalized service. Chef Marvin's creative menu will entice your palate. The club is open for lunch 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
University employees who have been regular members of the Faculty Club for 5 years immediately preceding retirement have a lifetime membership in the Faculty Club. They no longer pay dues but still have full access to the club.
Employees who have been members less than 5 years prior to retirement may continue their membership at $60/year, paid annually by check, until they reach 5 years of membership. At that time, no further dues will be required and they will continue to have full access to the club.
The Faculty Club is on the 7th and 8th floors of the Richard E. Lindner Center, 2751 O'Varsity Way (Note: This is the Lindner Center in the Varsity Village/Athletics building, not the College of Business Lindner Hall.) The dining room is on the 7th floor. Parking is available at the Calhoun Garage, Corry Garage, CCM Garage or the Varsity Village Garage. (Note: There are no attendants on duty; there is an automated pay system.) Garage rates are set by the University of Cincinnati. Retirees are eligible for a parking pass that allows 3 hours of free parking if the garage is not full. If you are a retiree and have not received a pass, call Parking Services at 513-556-2283.
Events such as the athletic pre-game dinners, speaker series, retired member and birthday luncheons are listed on the Faculty Club homepage and are updated regularly. Email is our preferred means of communication. For those who do not have email addresses, postcards are sent through U.S. mail. Please notify the club if you change your email or mailing address.
The Cincinnati Faculty Club is a member of the Association of College and University Clubs (ACUC), which extends reciprocal privileges to other member clubs. If you plan to visit another university, check the ACUC website at www.acuclubs.org to determine if their Faculty Club is a member.
