A message from the Chair:
The University of Cincinnati has a strong commitment to Shared Governance, as evidenced by the University’s Integrated Decision Making Process. Under this process, Faculty Senate has a direct link to the chief academic officer, the Provost. The Faculty Senate serves as a formal deliberative body and represents the Faculty on educational/academic policy issues by providing advice, review, approval (where appropriate) and assistance with implementation on these policies. Senate also works with both the undergraduate and graduate student governance bodies on policy issues. We hope you will find the website informative and useful.
