Proudly Cincinnati: Tower of Strength, Rock of Truth is the University of Cincinnati’s most ambitious campaign in history, supporting the vision for UC to become the finest urban research university in the United States. Proudly Cincinnati’s goal is to raise $1 billion by 2013. UC surpassed its original fund-raising goal of $800 million, but still has a challenging road ahead.
Through Proudly Cincinnati, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of UC provide essential monetary support. Their gifts support private scholarships, fellowships, co-op opportunities and more to help transform students' lives and enable them to do great things for their communities and the people they serve after graduation.
As of December 2012, more than 87,000 donors have donated to Proudly Cincinnati. The University of Cincinnati has set a goal to reach 100,000 donors to the campaign by June 2013. This historic drive to reach 100,000 donors and $1 billion dollars will position UC among the nation’s most elite universities.
The transformative effects of Proudly Cincinnati are already clearly evident throughout the university—from boldly designed facilities by signature architects, to nationally and internationally ranked programs, to record-breaking support for UC’s groundbreaking research.
