• Expand collections to purchase electronic and print
  resources that support the university’s Centers of
  Excellence and other academic subject areas targeted for growth
  

• Digitize unique and fragile primary sources, such as books, prints, recordings, artifacts, and musical scores, to preserve them and provide wider access to them through the online catalog, Web sites, and the OhioLINK Digital Resources Commons
  

• Catalog and process a number of rare and specialized gift collections that are historic and of significant value to scholars and historians at UC and throughout the United States and the world
  

• Preserve and conserve one-of-a-kind resources that are deteriorating by using modern techniques that preventfurther deterioration and improve longevity
