Mission Statement
The University of Cincinnati Foundation's Student Development Council promotes and encourages scholarship, leadership, and service activities that build affinity, commitment , volunteerism, and philanthropy.  SDC serves as an umbrella organization to coordinate various student organizations' philanthropic activities, both at UC and in the community.

About
The Student Development Council supports the philanthropic endeavors of the UC Foundation by spearheading Proudly Pennies - a student-led campaign to raise one billion pennies, or $10 million dollars.  This campaign will directly support the goals of UC's strategic plan UC2019, providing the necessary resources to position UC among the nation's top universities.

Currently, our signature events are the Nippert Stadium Steps Challenge and the Faculty/Staff Karaoke Night, which aim to increase awareness of and participation in this initiative.
