Annual gifts provide vital, unrestricted operating income for UC's colleges and programs. They offset reductions in state funding, allowing the university to support its students and faculty where the need is greatest and add value to your degree.
Gifts of $1,000 or more qualify you for membership and recognition in the Charles McMicken Society.
The Annual Giving Team at the University of Cincinnati may contact you a variety of ways:
- By Phone
You may periodically receive a Telefund call from a UC student inviting you to support UC's annual fund. Typically, our students call in the fall asking to update your contact information, and if you would consider a gift to support annual college priorities. In the spring, students call alumni asking for support of the university’s general fund, which is used to fund UC's greatest needs.
- By E-mail
E-mail communications are an efficient way for UC and its colleges to stay connected with alumni. Communicating online also provides you with a secure and “green” method of making your gift.
- By Mail
Look for information in your mailbox from your college with updates on their current events and annual giving opportunities. Use your pledge card and postage-paid reply envelope to send in your updates and gift. You may receive multiple annual mailings depending on your involvement at UC during your undergraduate/graduate years.
