CINCINNATI, Sept. 24, 2009 – Meredith Delaney, director of development of Clermont College for The University of Cincinnati Foundation, has been named as a 2009-2010 Rising Star by the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati.
“We congratulate Meredith on this great honor, which will provide a tremendous amount of personal and professional growth,” said Michael W. Carroll, president of The University of Cincinnati Foundation and vice president of development for the University of Cincinnati. “The University of Cincinnati Foundation is proud to have her as part of our team.”
Rising Stars are selected based on their outstanding performance and demonstration of their potential to attain marked achievement in their chosen careers. The program is a vehicle to recognize and support career women ages 25-40 who have potential to become future leaders in Cincinnati. By giving Rising Stars a venue in which they can interact and network with career women of diverse backgrounds, this program provides these younger leaders with the opportunity to address topics that will enhance their ability to build upon their professional success.
In addition to working at the University of Cincinnati, Delaney is currently vice chair of the board of the Literacy Council of Clermont and Brown Counties and sits on committees for the Clermont County Chamber of Commerce.
