University of Cincinnati Foundation Names Service Award Winners

CINCINNATI, October 30, 2009 – At its October 24 semiannual board meeting, the University of Cincinnati Foundation announced the winners of the Staff Award of Merit, Trustees Award and the Chairman’s Award.

Bill Henrich, CFO for the Foundation, received the Staff Award of Merit. Cora Ogle, research professor at the UC College of Medicine and Shriners Burns Institute, received the Trustees Award. Jeffrey P. Williams, immediate past chair of the UC Foundation Board of Trustees received the Chairman’s Award.

“The continued leadership of these three people shows a passion for UC that has greatly contributed to our $1 billion Proudly Cincinnati campaign,” said Michael W. Carroll, president of The University of Cincinnati Foundation and vice president of development and alumni affairs for the University of Cincinnati. “Their commitment has been instrumental in helping us achieve the campaign’s halfway milestone of $500 million.”

  • Henrich has served the UC Foundation as CFO for more than 20 years and has been integral in implementing database management, accounting and gift acknowledgement.
  • Ogle serves as the faculty representative to the UC Foundation Board of Trustees and has served UC as a two-time co-chair of the UC Faculty/Staff campaign.
  • Williams served as board chair for six years and oversaw UC’s best fundraising year in 2008 and the growth of UC’s Faculty/Staff campaign.
