Study Abroad Courses

Students studying abroad for a summer, quarter, semester or year on an external program register for a course to keep them enrolled as a full time student at UC.  This allows them full time UC benefits, such as financial aid, tuition remission, health insurance, and access to UC libraries and technology.  Registering for a study abroad course will also help the credit transfer process when they return with their transcript.  In order to register for a study abroad course, students must have approval from their Academic Advisor via the Academic Advisor Approval Form or approval from their UC International Student Grant application.

15 MLTI 300 Study Abroad – this course is for students who are studying abroad on external programs, paying tuition and fees to outside universities or program providers.

15 MLTI 500 International Exchange – this course is for students who are studying abroad on UC exchange programs at particular universities abroad.
