The International Teacher Identity Card is endorsed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. It offers parallel coverage to the ISIC card for students. These give traveling students and faculty a document that is readily accepted worldwide as proof of their student or faculty status. The International Teacher Identity Card also provides many benefits to holders, including some supplemental health and travel insurance, discounts for museums and attractions, and discount travel. We require students to have the ISIC card. Faculty on traveling on official UC business are covered by AIGAssist, but may wish to have the ITIC card for personal travel. It is available in the UC International Programs office. Bring a passport size photo and $22, cash, check or money order.
