DIS, Denmark's International Study Program, is a specialized Danish institution offering university-level study abroad programs for primarily American university students in their third or fourth year of study.
Courses are taught in English by Danish faculty, and the course structure and level of academic rigor allow transfer of credits earned at DIS to the home university.
DIS is affiliated with the University of Copenhagen and is supervised and financially supported by the Danish government. It operates through a network of some 170 official partner institutions and colleges in the US and other countries. Since its founding in 1959, more than 27,000 American and other international students have studied with DIS as an integral and recognized part of their university degree.
