Argentinean Film and Culture

Buenos Aires has often been called the "Paris of the New World," due to its rich traditions of music, art, literature, film, and cuisine. Museums, cinemas, theater and shows provide an unlimited variety of entertainment. Dramas, musical comedies, and tango attract visitors year-round.

In this three-week study abroad program in Buenos Aires, Argentina, honors students will study Argentinean culture through film as well as the history and culture of Argentina. Students will be exposed to a broad view of the most important political, historical, and social aspects of the culture. Insights will be gained through firsthand exploration of Buenos Aires.
