Passport Day
Spring Passport Day is coming up on Wednesday April 16th!
Passport Day is an opportunity for students to apply for a U.S. Passport. Passports are good for 10 years and are now required for all international travel, including Canada and Mexico so apply for yours at Passport Day! Although the cost of a Passport will be the same, your Passport Photos will be FREE if you apply on Passport Day!
To make an appointment for Passport Day, call 556-4278 or email global@uc.edu. Appointments will be made from 1-4pm and are required. To apply for a U.S. Passport on Passport Day, you must come to 3134 Edwards One at your scheduled appointment time with the following documents:
1) Original Birth Certificate (or alternative as according to the form)
2) Drivers license (or alternative as according to the form)
3) Social Security Number
4) Check for $75 made payable to US Department of State (additional fee to expedite)
5) Check for $25 made payable to Cincinnati Public Library
6) Passport application (this you can get at your appointment if needed)
Passports will be returned to you within 8-12 weeks. If you need your passport sooner, it will cost an additional $60 to expedite the process. For more information please see www.travel.state.gov/passport or http://passports.cincinnatilibrary.org.
