Greek Affairs Alumni Council

The Greek Affairs Alumni Council (GAAC) supports the undergraduate fraternity and sorority community, as well as chapter advisors. The council consists of fraternity and sorority alumni (some UC alums and some not) who are committed to the Fraternity and Sorority Life experience.

Each fall, the GAAC hosts a reception with the University President. The GAAC is a forum for chapter advisor discussion, sharing of best practices, connecting with other alumni and undergraduates, and undertakes volunteer fundraising for the community.

The GAAC also recognizes alumni with the William R. Nester Award and Outstanding Young Greek Alumni Award annually.

The Greek Affairs Education Fund (GAEF) provides funding for fraternity and sorority education programs and initiatives. It is administered through the Greek Affairs Alumni Council and UC Foundation.
