National Pan-Hellenic Council
NPHC and Multicultural
National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), historically African-American fraternities and sororities, refer to the process of new members joining as “intake.” These fraternities and sororities typically only have intake once a year, at their own discretion, and hold informational meetings for interested students. Typically, NPHC fraternities and sororities require new members to be at least sophomore status.

We currently have two multicultural sororities Delta Phi Lambda (Asian-interest) and Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi (Jewish-interest) and one multicultural fraternity Chi Sigma Tau (Asian-interest). We also have several other culturally-based fraternity and sorority interest groups.
We are anticipating the formation of a Multicultural Greek Council during the 2016-2017 academic year.
