Calendar of Events
In the spring of 1999, 12 women began meeting together for prayer and bible study. They soon decided to formally establish a Christian sorority to serve the University of Cincinnati. After completing a long-distance pledge process, the sorority became an active chapter of Alpha Delta Chi on June 3, 2000. A registered student organization, the Rho chapter is working hard to become more active on the UC campus. In the past they have hosted bible studies, a swing dance, movie nights, a hip-hop night, and an annual cookout. Upcoming events include Rush -- October 6-10 -- this fall. See the calendar of events for more details. The sorority has also actively participated in community service in the Cincinnati area. The sorority has volunteered with the low-income housing cooperative ReSTOC and helped out with canned food drives and campus service events.

Since becoming active in 2000, the Rho chapter has had 6 rush weeks and has initiated 16 new girls into the ADX sisterhood. Rush occurs the second week of Fall and Winter Quarters. Would you like to become a part of our young chapter's history?

ADX was founded in 1925 by 10 women at UCLA, and in 1929 the Beta Chapter of ADX began in Berkeley. The first annual convention of ADX (then called Areta) was held in Berkley, CA in 1939. In 1943, the organization changed it's name to Alpha Delta Chi. Throughout the years, ADX has expanded outside of CA and now has chapters in 4 other states.
