As stated in our Chapter Constitution:
The purpose of ADX is to provide a sorority at the University of Cincinnati that will give Christian women the opportunity to strive for academic excellence, grow in their faith, fellowship together, and provide service for the community.

1. Academics: ADX encourages academic excellence by providing support networks, student tutors, mentors, and a flexible atmosphere that allows students to devote time to studies. Nearly every UC College is represented by our membership. We expect students to take their schoolwork seriously and therefore require a minimum 2.0 GPA.

2. Spiritual Strengthening: ADX is not meant to be a substitute for church, other campus ministries, or your own time with God. We exist to encourage and provide support for each other as Christian women. There is a weekly devotional given by the devotional chair at every Sunday night meeting, and after the Sunday meeting many girls stay for a time of sharing and praying. We each have a prayer partner that we meet with once a week. This helps us get to know someone we normally would not interact with, and it is a time to share about our weeks and encourage each other in prayer and scripture.

3. Social: All social events are optional, unless voted differently by ADX members. There is a mandatory spiritual retreat (an overnight) in Fall and Spring Quarters. Past social events have included baking cookies for STE parties, movie nights, study nights, a Winter Dinner with STE, service events, women's nights, Mother/Daughter Tea, and a fundraising dinner. Many girls organize informal social activities such as camping, hiking, shopping, running, gym workouts, etc.

4. Service: There will be two service events per quarter, organized by the service chair. You are required to attend one. ADX also encourages girls to be involved in other volunteer capacities including campus ministries, bible studies, community service, and church and Sunday school activities.
