Andrew Bazemore, MD, MPH is the Assistant Director of the Robert Graham Center. Prior to his current position, Dr. Bazemore was an Assistant Professor in the University of Cincinnati's Department of Family Medicine, where he also completed his residency training and faculty development fellowship. As a member of the Research Division as well as Director of the International Health Program, Dr. Bazemore developed interests in access to care for underserved populations both domestically and internationally, and on the application of geographic information systems to the study of the U.S. safety net. A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, he also practices and teaches residents in Fairfax, VA, and serves on the faculty of the Department of Family Medicine at Georgetown University and Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Bazemore received his B.A. degree from Davidson College, his M.D. from the University of North Carolina, and his M.P.H. at Harvard University.
