Among her many roles, Dr. Susan Montauk is a staff physician for Cincinnati Healthcare for the Homeless Mobile Van, project director for the Homeless Children's Thrive and Grow Team, and project director for Neonatal Assessment of Homeless Children. She advocates for distribution of resources so that those with the least can still receive a little. Dr. Montauk is a calming presence in the sometimes chaotic world of homeless health care. She has a unique ability to connect with her patients and embraces the homeless both literally and figuratively. As one of her patients at Mt. Airy Men's Recovery Shelter explains, "She cares. She's genuinely concerned about her patients. There's just something about her. You trust her." Dr. Montauk is a Professor of clinical family medicine at UC College of Medicine and has been included in the Best Doctors in America list since 2002.
