Regional Firesides are held during odd-numbered years. The word captures the warmth, understanding, informal communication and friendship. Chi Omega pioneered the concept of Firesides in 1935. Initially, these meetings were conducted at a camp with an evening campfire session. This is why Chi Omega chose this title for its regional training sessions for alumnae and undergraduate delegates.

  Time to share ideas and concerns in a supportive atmosphere
