Since its founding, Delta Sigma Theta has clearly established itself as a public service organization that
strives to confront the problems of African Americans and, hence, all Americans. As fulfillment of our heritage or
service Delta Sigma Theta has instantiated a protocol for their programming, the 5 Point Thrust. The 5 Point Thrust
is a powerful initiative that helps Americans and impacts the world.
The major programs of the Sorority are based upon the organization's Five-Point Program Thrust. Program development
and implementation in Delta is a cooperative effort that is directed to the students and community of the University
of Cincinnati. The Five-Point Thrust include:
