LOGISTICS COMMITTEE

The Logistics Committee represents EWB-UCIN throughout the University and the local community with letters, flyers, banners, and presentations.  The committee coordinates traveling arrangements for members during assessment and implementation trips as well as overseeing the provision of project materials.   The committee works closely with all other EWB-UCIN committees and members to develop tangible media necessary for the function of EWB-UCIN.

The Logistics Committee also is responsible for EWB-UCIN facilities management at the University.  These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Office maintenance
• Room reservations for meetings
• Managing the list of all EWB-UCIN contacts

Members of the Logistics Committee can expect to learn/develop:

• The necessity of advertising and organization promotion to the public and the tasks necessary to achieve this necessity
• Practical experience creating documents to outline an organization and present it in a manner to attract donors, prospective members and mentors
• International project planning skills including raw material provision, travel and community engagement
• University engagement for completion of logistical tasks (room reservation, managing faculty contacts, etc)
