Volunteer Opportunities:

See http://www.uc.edu/af/sustainability/ for volunteering opportunities at UC. Most of them provide CINCINATUS Hours.

Past LEAP Volunteering Opportunities:

October 11, 2008: Tailgate Recycling

Volunteers Needed!

At UC's first home game of the 2008 football season on August 28, volunteers helped capture 189 lbs. of aluminum, plastic and glass for recycling. We need volunteers to help make every game an even bigger success by attempting to recycle 100% of the cans and bottles generated during the tailgating events. Volunteers will help collect and encourage recycling during the pre-game festivities, as well as clean up and remove the bins after the game.

All volunteers are asked to help for one hour before kick-off and one hour after game ends. All volunteers are asked to meet at the Tailgate Recycling tent near the loading dock of Sanders Parking lots on West Campus. Volunteers receive t-shirts and dinner and community service hours may be available.

For more details or to sign up, please email Shaun Finley at finleysr@ucmail.uc.edu or see http://www.uc.edu/af/sustainability/tailgate.html
