 Treasurer - Patti Davenportdavenppe@uc.edu Patti is a second year Biology and Pre-Med student at UC who loves Double Stuffed Oreos and participated in SBC's spring break trip to Reynosa, Mexico in 2007. A year later, she will be leading the spring trip to Mexico and is taking on more and more responsibilities around the organization. She is the first treasurer for SBC to actually take on the challenge of SBC's flow of money and is organizing a giant task. Patti plans to use the skills she is learning in school and through her service experience to live a life after college that is dedicated to making the world a better place. Expect great things here. Roles: The treasurer shall be responsible in conjunction with the President and the University Advisor, for all fiscal matters of SBC. a. The Treasurer shall collect and receive all funds paid to SBC and shall deposit them in the official depository. b. The Treasurer will keep the accounts and books which, at all times, must be open to inspection by the President, the Executive Board, and the Undergraduate Funding Board, or any authorized auditor. This includes tracking account balances, donations, trip participant fees, fundraising income, etc. c. The Treasurer shall make financial reports at the quarterly meeting of the University of Cincinnati Serve Beyond Cincinnati Group. d. The Treasurer shall oversee and approve all funding requests to the University Funding Board and shall assure that all requirements for such requests are met in accordance with the UFB funding procedures.
