About me...

Hello! I am the advisor for humanities and social science students in the McMicken College of Arts & Sciences. I am also the coordinator for all of the study tours attached to honors seminars. Stop by and let’s talk sometime, about your courses, about study abroad, or about life in general (or in specifics).

I grew up in Maryland then went to UNC for college. While at Carolina, I was in marching band, highly involved with a student-run political magazine, and a leader in an organization helping international students. When I graduated in 2009, I went into a doctorate program in school psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. After one year, I realized that this program was not a good fit for me and left it. I worked in research for one year then went back to school to earn my Masters in student affairs.
