Introduction
I advise students in the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services and select students in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (AE, ASE, BME, ChemE, Civil, Environmental, FEP/EASE)… and anyone else who comes to talk to me. Set up an appointment via e-mail or Starfish or just stop by!
In addition to my role as lead advisor, I have many other projects in our office and in supporting our students' work. I teach sections of Gateway to University Honors as well as the Exploring Community Engagement honors seminar. I also lead an alternative spring break experience known as WorkFest and an alternative break experience called Making Wishes Come True.
I grew up in Cincinnati and am a proud UC alumna and staff member. As an undergraduate at UC, I was a member of the University Honors Program and found some of my greatest experiences through the honors staff and associated opportunities. After graduation, I started working full time for UC in the Office of Admissions, traveling to high schools all over the state and sharing my own bearcat memories with future students.
I am also a doctoral student in CECH in the Educational Studies program. I am interested in service-learning, addressing educational inequality, building transformative relationships, and how all of this relates to community engagement.
