What's great about living on campus?

The residence halls provide a fun, convenient home and an environment that encourages students academically, socially, and personally.

A helping hand can always be found from the staff such as resident advisors (RAs), who are experienced students who know what coming to college is really like. Every hall also has a full-time resource person, the residence coordinator (RC), who is available
to students.

What is there to do? The halls provide a wide variety of programs and events — hundreds every year, in fact. From academic help to intramural sports teams to social activities, there’s always something happening.

The highlight of the halls is the wide variety of people to meet and friends to make. Some of these relationships will last a lifetime. The halls provide a great opportunity to share with others the common experience of being a student while learning about each other’s varied backgrounds and interests.

Live in the center of it all! The halls provide easy access to classes, faculty members, and campus facilities such as the new Campus Recreation Center, the library, Steger Student Life Center, Tangeman University Center, and others. No bad weather travels or
parking delays here—walk to everything you need! Meanwhile, we clean the bathroom and provide meal service.

Putting safety first is a top priority for us. Our halls have all the safety features you’re looking for, including smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and sprinkler systems. The front doors to each hall are locked and residents are responsible for checking in guests and escorting them at all times.

“The residence halls allowed me to meet friends, take on leadership roles early in my college career, familiarize myself with the campus, and enjoy the many great features a college campus offers.” – Chris Mosko, Engineering Class of ‘04
