INTERNS - Athletic and Psychology, Special Fellows

The Choice Benefits program is a partnership between UC and its employees. We do everything we can to provide you with high-quality benefits at a reasonable cost to you and the university. Interns, athletic and psychology, and Special Fellows who have an appointment of at least one year and a FTE between 80-100%, may enroll in Medical coverage through the Choice Benefits plan.

MEDICAL INSURANCE

Medical coverage pays benefits for eligible medical expenses. The Choice Benefits program offers you the option of enrolling in the health maintenance organization (HMO) or waiving participation in coverage. This plan gives you the flexibility to tailor a benefits package that meets your individual or your family’s needs.  Information regarding the HMO is available in the Enrollment Workbook.  The Medical Coverage Comparison chart in the workbook summarizes the benefits available this medical plan.
