The Choice Benefits program is a partnership between UC and its employees. We do everything we can to provide you with high-quality benefits at a reasonable cost to you and the university.
Annually appointed adjuncts who have an FTE between 50-64%, may enroll in Choice Benefits, the benefit program offered by the University of Cincinnati. Included in this package are medical insurance, for yourself and eligible dependents, flexible spending accounts to help offset the costs of health and dependent care expenses. |

MEDICAL INSURANCE
 Medical coverage pays benefits for eligible medical expenses. The Choice Benefits program offers two excellent medical plans, the health maintenance organization (HMO) and the First 1000. These plan options give you the flexibility to tailor a benefits package that meets your individual or your family’s needs. Information regarding the HMO and First 1000 plans is available in the Enrollment Workbook. The Medical Coverage Comparison section in the workbook summarizes the benefits available under each medical plan. For more detailed information about your medical plan review the HMO Plan Document.

TUITION REMISSION
 The Tuition Remission Program enables you to benefit from the many educational opportunities offered by the University. If you take advantage of this program, you will not pay tuition for university coursework; however you will pay any extra fees, such as late fees or room and board. (Read more)
