
Jennifer Calnon Cherkauskas, Ph.D., is a research consultant for the University of Cincinnati Policing Institute. She holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Crime, Law, and Justice from the Pennsylvania State University. She has collaborated with Dr. Robin Engel on a number of traffic stop data analysis projects for agencies including the Pennsylvania State Police, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Nebraska State Patrol, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety. She currently serves as the ICS’s project manager for the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Traffic Stop Data Analysis Study. Her research interests include the examination of patrol officers’ behavior and racial/ethnic disparities in the criminal justice system. She has published articles in Justice Quarterly, Journal of Crime and Justice, Police Quarterly, and Policing.
