A Break For Working Daughters From: University Currents Date: May 5, 2000 Photo By: Whitney Gilmer Archive: Campus News A Slinky, not to mention the sunshiny day, brought smiles to the faces of 4-year-old Ieshia Wilson, left, Helen Sloan and her aunt Debby Patterson, as well as Ieshia's mom Tiffany during UC's "Take Our Daughters to Work Day" pizza picnic on Thursday, April 27. The Slinky was just one of the goodies distributed to the young participants at the luncheon program, which also featured informational booths, safety harness climbing and a football throwing contest. The event, attended by about 200 UC staff members and 200 youths, was sponsored by the Division of Human Resources and Student Affairs and the UC Women's Center.
