Dean Werner Times Two From: University Currents Date: May 26, 2000 Archive: Campus News College-Conservatory of Music Dean Robert J. Werner posed with this giant likeness of himself at a recent retirement celebration held in his honor. Faculty, staff, administrators, donors and friends gathered last week to recognize Werner's achievements during a 15-year tenure, most notably the construction of the $93.2 million CCM Village. The puppet behind him was made for the college's recent production of the opera Il Viaggio a Reims, in which the plot was altered to honor Werner in lieu of King Charles X of France.
