Grail Woman Task Force

The Grail Women Task Force is an active, local agent of the National Grail movement. The Grail Women Task Force's broad, overall commitment and vision is:

  • To cultivate and increase women s awareness of oppressors and of both their value as creative human persons and of their roles as oppressed.
  • To unite women in solidarity and community across the social divisions of class, race, religion, age, culture and sexual orientation, and
  • To encourage and support women in becoming able and responsible agents for change.
  • In July 1998, the Butler County Commissioners selected the Grail Women Task Force for a pilot mentoring program, Women Breaking Barriers, to help women make the transition from welfare to work. In addition, the pilot was designed to bring women leaders in the state of Ohio together to address how to make welfare reform really work in all parts of Ohio.
