Hoxworth Needs Blood Donors Immediately
Date: June 9, 2000
Archive: Campus News

The following is a special alert from the Hoxworth Blood Center:
From: Susan L. Wilkinson, Interim Director, Hoxworth Blood Center

Our community is in critical need of blood donors. Because of higher than normal blood usage, our community is facing a shortage of blood -- particularly type O blood-for patients in area hospitals. Blood centers across the country also have critical blood shortages.

We are asking for your help by donating blood as soon as possible, encouraging friends and family to donate, and by distributing this message to UC employees who can also help alleviate this shortage by giving blood.

For more information or to make an appointment, please call (513) 451-0910 or 1-800-830-1091, or access our website.

The seven neighborhood donation centers are:

  • Hoxworth Anderson, Five Mile Center, 7715 Five Mile Road
  • Hoxworth Blue Ash, 4310 Hunt Road
  • Hoxworth Central, 3130 Highland Avenue
  • Hoxworth Downtown, 432 Walnut Street, Tri-State Building, second floor
  • Hoxworth Ft. Mitchell, 2220 Grandview Drive, Suite 140
  • Hoxworth Tri-County, Olde Gate Plaza, 280 Northland Boulevard
  • Hoxworth Western Hills, 2345 Ferguson Road
