| Hoxworth Needs Blood Donors Immediately
Date: June 9, 2000 Archive: Campus News The following is a special alert from the Hoxworth Blood Center: Our community is in critical need of blood donors. Because of higher than normal blood usage, our community is facing a shortage of blood -- particularly type O blood-for patients in area hospitals. Blood centers across the country also have critical blood shortages. We are asking for your help by donating blood as soon as possible, encouraging friends and family to donate, and by distributing this message to UC employees who can also help alleviate this shortage by giving blood.
