Here, UC defensive backs Zach Norton and Gerry Ruff (No. 40) prepare to defend receiver Tye Keith in a goal-line situation. The new FieldTurf surface looks and plays much more like grass than traditional artificial surfaces. Nippert Stadium also has received other upgrades visible here, such as new brick fronts on the walls at field level and new black padding underneath the grandstand behind the end zone.
