  • An article about paying for college prominently featured UC's co-op program. Quoted in the story were June 1999 engineering graduate Sharon Hagan and Richard Abel, department head of professional practice at UC's College of Applied Science, who is also founding president of the recently formed Accreditation Council for Cooperative Education.
