Albert Sabin Way to be Dedicated

To mark the 40th anniversary of the Albert Sabin oral polio vaccine, Albert Sabin Way - formerly Bethesda and Elland Avenues between the Medical Sciences Building and Children's Hospital - will be dedicated.

The dedication will take place on the plaza in front of the Medical Sciences Building beginning at 1:10 p.m. Friday, April 28. Cincinnati Mayor Charles Luken will preside.

Also the following events will mark the anniversary: Scientific symposium, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, April 28, in Kresge Auditorium, MSB; Sabin Saturday celebration with clowns, magicians, face painters at the Cincinnati Museum Center, 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 29.
