From the AVP - The Current State of InfoSec at UC
The SANs institute is the largest Cybersecurity school in the US. SANs also operates the Internet’s early warning system (http://www.sans.org/isc) and publishes original research on hundreds of topics in InfoSec and Information assurance. Recently SANs released their list of the three critical areas of concern for organizations and stated that InfoSec programs within organizations should be doing work in the these three areas:
- Log management and SIMs
- Laptop and Mobile Data Encryption
- Application security testing and secure coding training
Remember as Doug Tygar, professor Computer Science at UC Berkely is quoted as saying "You can't consider the problem of defense without first understanding the problem of attack."
Keep safe and safeguard your personal information.
