How To...  Dispose of assets at UC

All surplus assets at UC must be disposed of through the Asset Management department (556-0192 or assets@uc.edu)

Asset Management will ensure that proper processes are followed in the disposal or destruction of assets. Special arrangements have been made to that sensative information that may be on the harddrive or memory of equipement such as computers, printers or removable media is destroyed. There is currently no cost to you for turning in IT equipment or for wiping and disposing of it.

Disposal of assets in any other way, including online auctions and the like, is not authorized and could expose the University to unnecessary risk.
