Threats / Countermeasures

Every day we face choices that affect the security of our information. What do you tell that telemarketer when they ask for your address or SSN? You need a copy of the the paper we wrote last night, do we tell our roommate our password so they can get it? Who might be listening if you do? You administer or support a computer systems and have many passwords. Do you save them in a file on your computer? Do you write them down?

These are just a few very common examples.

This section discusses a few common threats tot he security of your information and what you can do to counter those threats.
