Community Connections

Cincinnati has a number of international organizations and initiatives that welcome participation from outside. The University of Cincinnati is working hand to hand with local Cincinnati Organizations to bring more conscience of Internationalism to the tri-state area.

Cincinnati Regional Chamber of Commerce

Cincinnati Regional Chamber of Commerce is the nation's sixth largest Chamber, representing the interests of more than 6,000 member businesses. The Chamber provides numerous services, including business retention and attraction, education and networking, benefit products to improve members' bottom line, solutions to members' workforce challenges, as well as legislative and regulatory advocacy to create and sustain a positive business climate for our community.

Global Cincinnati

Global Cincinnati, a project of the Greater Cincinnati World Affairs Council, is the one stop site for global organizations, experts, events and much more in Cincinnati and nine counties in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

European American Chamber of Commerce

The European-American Chamber of Commerce (EACC) stimulates business relations and economic development between Europe and the Greater Cincinnati area, through thought-leadership and programs that encourage collaboration, networking and education. Dedicated to increasing awareness and enhancing the image of the Greater Cincinnati cultural and business community, the EACC includes distinct and active committees to serve and provide meaningful outreach to members.

Cincinnati Chinese Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Cincinnati Chinese Chamber of Commerce (GCCCC) is a regional non-profit organization founded in 2005. The GCCCC is dedicated to serving its members to improve understanding of business law, strategies, and feasibility of international business opportunities. The GCCCC is staffed by committed volunteers who wish to make Greater Cincinnati a key region for American-Chinese investments and ventures.

German American Citizens League of Greater Cincinnati

The German American Citizens League of Greater Cincinnati is an umbrella association of 29 organizations in the Ohio Valley, with the common bond of interest in German-American heritage and culture. They are also the custodians of the German Heritage Museum in Cincinnati.

Greater Cincinnati World Affairs Council

Greater Cincinnati World Affairs Council is our region’s local affiliate of both the World Affairs Councils of America and the National Council on International Visitors. The Council provides a center of excellence for international education and citizen diplomacy. The Council brings notable experts in international affairs and global issues to Cincinnati to meet with educators, students, business people and the community. Though the U.S. State Department International Visitor Leadership Program and othe programs, the Council regularly hosts international delegations. The Council also runs the globalcincinnati.org website – an online database of regional international & interethnic organizations, events and experts. Through these programs, the Council works to increase Greater Cincinnati's presence in the international arena; fostering intercultural communication and understanding; establishing high level contacts for building collaborative business and trade relations; and facilitating the development of cooperative economic ventures and cultural exchanges

Cincinnati Hispanic Chamber

The Hispanic Chamber of Cincinnati promotes the continued growth and development of the Hispanic/Latino business community in the Tri-State area. The Chamber works closely with profit and nonprofit area businesses as well as the local and state Chambers of Commerce and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Japan America Society of Greater Cincinnati

The Japan America Society of Greater Cincinnati (JASGC) is a nonprofit organization created to promote a better understanding and cultural awareness between the people of Japan and the people of the Cincinnati Region. The JASGC strives to foster new business, political and cultural connections between the citizens, companies and governments of Japan and Greater Cincinnati, leading to a more productive, stable, and enriched relationship between our two countries.

United Italian Society of Cincinnati

The United Italian Society of Cincinnati are a fun group of individuals of all ages, and they gather to learn more about the Italian heritage, as well as share the Italian heritage with the community. The United Italian Society of Cincinnati began nearly 80 years ago, and since then, they have continued to grow strong, uniting Italians and Italian-Americans all throughout the area.
