J-1 Exchange Visitor Check-In

All J-1 Exchange Visitors need to use our online system to schedule a formal check-in with UC International Services once the visa has been obtained.  All new international visitors are required to check-in with UC International Services prior to beginning their employment or collaborative activities at UC.

To schedule a check-in, you should go to ioffice.uc.edu and click on the "Limited Services for Students and Scholars" link. There you will find the eForm for "Employee/Visiting Scholar Check-in".  Complete this eForm to schedule the check-in.

When you come for Check-in, you MUST bring your passport and all relevant immigration documents (Passport, DS-2019 form, I-94 card, etc).

J-1 Exchange Visitor Orientation

All J-1 Exchange Visitors are required by Federal Law to receive an Orientation after their arrival. Orientations are held on the last Thursday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except for November).
