There are several UC web sites and other resources available to you. See below for links to help you with various concerns during your stay here.
Useful UC Web Sites
If you have a health question or problem, you will want to go to University Health Service (UHS) on the 3rd floor of Varsity Village (556-2564). From sore throats to sprained ankles, University physicians are there for you. You can receive personalized attention at University Health Services. Services provided include primary care services, women’s health, dermatology, mental health services, preventative health care, health education, and wellness promotion. Additional special services include a pharmacy, x-ray, and laboratory services. University Health Services is open daily during the week for your convenience. Appointments are required. There is also a doctor “on call” 24 hours a day to advise you, should you have an emergency when the Campus Health Center is closed.
Getting a University ID Card
Students are required to have a photo identification badge for use in the dining halls, libraries, sport facilities, and computer laboratories. ID badges are processed in the Public Safety Office (3 Edwards Center). Students need to be registered for classes and have another photo identification (i.e. passport) with them to obtain a UC ID. For more information about student ID cards, or what to do if yours has been lost or stolen, visit the Office of the Registrar web site.
