| Please Note: |
|---|
I. ONLY give Glacier TP what it is asking for. In the past students have felt the need to input information that appears on their I-20 Sources of Support sections into tax fields in the software. If the Software is asking for Box 1 of your W-2, put the number that appears in Box 1 of your W-2 only and not other information that appears elsewhere. |
II. Do NOT include UGS information on Glacier TP. As a Non-Resident Alien for Tax purposes you do not need to report or pay taxes on UGS awards. |
III. Please remember that even though this is a web-based program, it is not "E-filing". "E-filing" is a web-based method that US Citizens and Resident Aliens can use to file their Federal Income Tax Returns. E-filing is not available for Non-Resident Aliens. After completing your tax return using Glacier TP you must print your documents, sign them and mail them. |
IV. Avoid using Firefox and Macs. |
V. Information that you input using this software is only saved until June 15, 2013. So don't forget to print! |
VI. Do not forget to complete a State Tax Return. More information can be found here. |
