Getting involved when you return is a great way to stay connected to your international experience and continue to build on the international connections you have made! Here are some suggestions:
- Volunteer at the annual Study Abroad Fair!
UC International Programs hosts a Study Abroad Fair every fall and we are always looking for volunteers to make the day a success. You can volunteer to share your study abroad experience and talk to interested students or even just help with general set up tasks to make the event go smoothly.
- Be an IPAL!
The IPAL (International Partner and Leader) program is a great way to help new international students arrive and feel welcome at UC. IPALS help with various orientations and welcome activities and are invited to participate in many special events for international students throughout the year. UC has over 2,000 international students from over 100 different countries so help welcome new students to UC!
