There are many different types of ways to study abroad at the University of Cincinnati.
- UC Faculty-Led Programs: Organized and led by UC faculty for short-term study abroad (varying from 1-6 weeks). Students earn UC credit (although some programs may involve transfer credit). Programs change from year to year.
- Exchange Programs: A set of formal partnership between UC and an institution abroad. UC students pay UC tuition and receive transfer credit for this experience.
- External Programs: Outside universities and companies that provide packaged programs for college students to study abroad. UC students pay $200 flat fee to UC and the program fee directly to external program and receive transfer credit for this experience.
