iTunes U Summary
On 7/30/08, UC became the first Ohio institution in the University System of Ohio to provide content to the general public through iTunes U's public interface. Thanks much to all who contributed items to this initial push! Even though our site is live, you won’t be able to find us in the iTunes U directory just yet ... Apple needs to approve our site before it gets listed there. In the meantime, the http://www.uc.edu/itunes/ Web page will serve as the access point to iTunes U. If you have questions or comments about the site, contact
Brian Warner. If your area is ready with content oriented toward the general public, call Brian at 556-3927 to get your section online.
A little about iTunes U: The University of Cincinnati has partnered with Apple’s iTunes U to tell the UC story through downloadable audio and video content. iTunes U, created in 2007, features free content such as course lectures, language lessons, lab demonstrations, sports highlights and campus tours provided by many top U.S. colleges and universities, including University of Michigan, University of Washington, Duke, Yale and MIT.
