September 16, 2007 2 PM Freshman Convocation at Fifth Third Arena, Myrl H. Shoemaker Center.
September 17, 2007 4 PM Constitution Day celebration, Hughes High School Auditorium. One-man play "Thurgood Marshall's Coming" followed by a discussion with John Concannon regarding voluntary school integration.
October 11, 2007 4 PM TUC Theatre "Screamers" The Armenian National Committee of Ohio invites you to the Cincinnati premier of this critically acclaimed film, a history of genocide. More information is available.
October 17, 2007 3:30 PM Mic & Mac's (TUC) Ethnic Reception for faculty, staff, students
October 21, 2007 5 PM CCM's "In a Whirl of Jazz" featuring Terri Lyne Carrington, drums, guest artist. More information is available.
November 13-16, 2007 International Education Week featuring speaker Robert Neuwirth, author of "Shadow Cities: A Billion Squatters, a New Urban World". More information is available.
February 15 - 24, 2008 Children of Abraham exhibit and programming. 3rd floor lobby TUC. An examination of core beliefs of many of the world's religions. The exhibit explores common beliefs, sacred spaces, and the origins of the Abrahamic religions.
March - April 2008 Inez Beverly Prosser Memorial Symposium on Black Women in Psychology
April 19, 2008 8 PM CCM's Corbett Auditorium. Sound of Joy Chinese Folk Music Ensemble benefits the Fine Arts Fund. More information is available.
April 28- May 2, 2008 Worldfest 2008 April 30, 2008 "Freedom Writers" a movie with Hilary Swank 6:30 PM MainStreet Cinema, TUC More information is available.
May 13, 2008 5 PM MainStreet Cinema Harry Wu, Chinese-American Human Rights Activist (Introduction by Al Gerhardstein). This is one of a three part series of Community Forums. The community issue: In what ways can I make a difference on the issue of exhibiting deceased human bodies (American or foreign-born), where the bodies are utilized with or without consent of the individual? September 10, 2006 3:30 PM September 11 Peace Walk. The Peace Village will sponsor a walk starting at St. Monica/St. George Church, 329 McMillan Street. The walk will end at the Clifton Mosque. At 5:30 PM, a one-hour seminar will be held at the Mosque on "Still Walking/Working for Peace."
