Spirit to Serve Award
The Marriott Kingsgate Conference Hotel was recently awarded the Spirit to Serve our Communities Award during the General Manager Conference held in San Francisco.
The Award recognizes hotel teams that have made extraordinary efforts and achieved exceptional results with programs to better the communities in which they do business.
The Marriott Kingsgate Conference Hotel does many community activities, including:
- Helping to start the Hospitality Program for the University of Cincinnati. Many of our managers actually help to teach the students right here at Kingsgate. We take the students through every department at the hotel and teach them how to operate a hotel. Many of the students are now employed with us here at Kingsgate.
- Many of our staff members are involved in a reading program with Second Graders at St. Bernard elementary school to mentor students to improve their reading skills.
- Quarterly, we provide meals and socialize with people staying at the Ronald McDonald house.
These are just a few things that we do to help keep our staff involved in the community within which we all live and work.
For further questions or to get involved with Kingsgate Community activities please call Sue Graves, General Manager at the Marriott Kingsgate Conference Hotel at 513-487-3801.
