Outreach Program
Outreach Programs are our vehicle for informing the UC campus community about our existing programs, services and resources.
Request A Presentation. To request a presentation, please call our front desk at 556-3244. In order to ensure a timely response to your request, please contact us at least seven (7) business days in advance with several possible presentation dates. We will need the following information to complete your request over the phone: 1. Requestor's name, email address and phone number. 2. Presentation date(s). 3. Number of participants. 4. Building & room location. 5. Class meeting time. 6. Course number and section. 7. Presentation topic. Possible topics are: Tutoring Services, Peer Mentor Program, Cincinnati Pride Grant Academic Support, Supplemental Instruction, Disability Services, Academic Coaching or General AESS Overview. (Please note, we do not provide study strategies workshops). 8. Population of students. (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, faculty/staff, etc.)
An online form will be available later in the academic year. At the completion of each presentation, participants will be asked to complete a brief evaluation.
Study Strategies Handouts. The LAC has several study skills and study strategies related handouts that professors can distribute in their courses. We also love to receive constructive feedback from instructors on ways to improve them. Many of our handouts can be located by clicking on the Self-Help Resources link. If there are items you do not see listed, but would like created, please contact Alsace.Toure@uc.edu.
